Holy Sh@#! There's a Fire!!!!!!!!!

It all started on a normal evening when my honey Hunter said I am going to wash my hair. I laughed as I thought gosh that is such a girl thing to say! Well, Aliyah went with him since she loves the bathtub. So he grabbed a towel through it on the counter and stuck his head under the bathtub water and washed his hair. About 5-10 minutes later I hear "HOLY SH@#! THERE'S A FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" I ran in and the towel was up in flames and he was banging it against the floor trying to get it out. Which he did but it was still burning slowly, so he turned on the faucet sink and said go get me a glass a water so I can put it out. I stood there and said "why don't you just stick it under the sink?" He gave me this Look Like Oh, duh! Anyways, everyone made it out alive except the towel. I know Aliyah was probably scared even though she didn't cry.

How did the fire start you ask?

Well, as many of you have your own husbands, we all know when they go to the bathroom it can stink up the whole house(I might be exaggerating alittle) And since I am pregnant, I dry heave because of the smell, so we put on a candle every so often if I feel I need to and good ol' Hunter just threw the towel on top of the candle without thinking.

Little Aliyah everytime she goes to the bathroom she points to the candle and with a concerned face starts "talking about it"

Anyways~ All Is well! It could of been alot worst that is for sure!

1st Dream

So 2 days ago Jasmine got up and said "Yesterday Aliyah was in the microwave and she was melting" I sat there and thought Oh my gosh, she is telling me her dream for the 1st time!
I said
"Oh Honey, it was just a dream"
She said
"But, she was in the microwave and you came and gave her food. Why did you let her in there? She was getting hurt."
I said again
"sweetheart it was just a dream, it didn't really happen, see Aliyah is ok"

Through out the day she would bring it up. She was really sweet and mommy like to Aliyah, like she was thankful that she was alright.

This is NOT my baby Aliyah, so don't even think I would ever do that to her or any child!

TWILIGHT

I went to see this opening day at 1:00 pm with my friend Rachel! We are both fans of the books, she is the one who got me to read this in the first place!
Anyways, the movie was still packed, but we managed to get good seats! I wasn't so sure I loved the movie, maybe because there was so much missing from the book and it seemed to be going to fast!(even though the movie is 2 hrs long!)
But, I went to see it again with some other friends the next day and I knew what to expect this time so guess what?
Alright you probably guessed...
I LOVED IT. I really got to enjoy it more this time! Obviously it will never replace the love for the book itself, but I loved it! I am excited they are going to make the next book! Since this was a low budget film, they will definitely have more money to make the next one! And make it even more awesome!
I suggest if you haven't read the books, go see it You will love it, If you have read the books, it might take you seeing it twice for you to fall in love with it!

Erased

This is partly my fault, but I have been putting off downloading pictures/videos because of some foreign thing in me, I keep saying I will do it tomorrow. Just like this blog, I will blog tomorrow. Well, today Jasmine accidentally erased EVERYTHING on my camera, pictures and videos! NO! I screamed! I had so much that I hadn't saved! I was really upset at her. She said "Sorry mommy" it took me a while to actually say I forgive you, but I did because she actually looked really sad.
I gave her a hug and kissed her and said that I still loved her. About 10 minutes later we were just playing and stuff and she said again" I'm sorry mommy for erasing the camera" I said again" I forgive you, sweetie" and gave her a kiss.

The moral of the story: Tomorrow Never comes.

Who's With Me?!

This Is A MUST See for the holidays! I get giddy everytime I see the trailer! I am planning to have a group to go the first showing on Friday, November 21. I am not gonna go to the midnight show for 3 reasons
a) Their will be too many high school girls giggling, screaming ( it's ok if I do because I can control it)
b) I am pregnant and have kids and so I just can't stay up that late.
c) I don't want to wait 2-3 hours or more in line just to get a good seat.

So who's with me?!
It will be the first showing that can be anywhere from 11 am to 1 pm find a babysitter and join me! I want to make t-shirts ahead of times that we can all wear. Anywho, watch the new trailer that just came out this past week and squeal with me!

Jersey Souvenir

So the secret is out...we are expecting another munchkin into our lives! I could not hide it much longer since we share the house with my family and they were starting to wonder what the heck was wrong with me, since all I wanted to do is sleep and lay around! Plus, being that it is our 3rd my stomach tends to be swelling up much faster!
So hopefully this answer your question on why the lack of blogs. All my energy was spent on trying to pretend nothing was wrong! Ha, Ha! Anyways, that's it. I don't have a specific date from the doctor yet since I haven't been but I would have to say End of April - May 7th. Love ya all!

Lions, and tigers, and bears, OH MY!

THE BRONX ZOO

It was Amazing! It really is worth going if you are ever in the area. The park was so big, I don't think we even got to see all of it!
Hunter got to come with us, so that made us happy! We saw so many animals, the girls had a blast!~even the sleeping baby Aliyah!

We did tons of walking but worth every step! We even rode camels!
Jasmine enjoyed it, Aliyah was scared the whole time, she didn't know what to think, she kept grunting to get off! It was funny. We got to capture how fun everyone was having! Enjoy the pics.

We're off to see the Wizard

So if you have ever heard about the Broadway play "Wicked" you know how AMAZING it is. If you haven't heard and could care less about Broadway, this is the one you should break the rule for! It was down right the best play I have ever seen in my whole 32 years of existence! I went with my beautiful mom and we both were blown away we knew that we would definitely see it again. Well guess what your dream and our dream has come true because it is coming to Utah April 2009! WORTH EVERY PENNY. Save your money and go. Or tell a guy that wants you to go on a date with him that he must take you to it or else! Ha, Ha!

Real quick it is about the 2 witches from the wizard of oz. The story before Dorthy ever showed up!

P.S. I got tons of souvenirs that I love! (thanks mom (well and my dad too, because I'm sure it was his money), without her I could of never gone in NYC)

Who says I can't be Ghetto Fabulous?!

So while at battery park a "sista" stopped me and practically begged me to get my hair cornrowed so I did. And so this is me getting my "hair did" LOL Aren't I ghetto fabulous?!

Ground Zero and Battery Park

So My mom admits that she can only do one thing a day, because I had this huge list of things to see in New York today and she was like "lets just do one or two and then go from there" LOL. So today we went to Ground Zero where it was just a big construction site, but still neat to be there.

We then went to a 911 tribute memorial, which was so packed that it started not to be enjoyable, but then I complained to the front desk and they suggested to do the tour backwards and that turned out to be perfect. It was an indescribable feeling that was there. There were pictures of all the people that died in one room, like a big collage. In another room, tons of stuff they found in the mist of the rubble, two that caught my attention was an airplane window that made it and a stuffed animal lamb from a child.
We then walked to Battery Park where you would get on a ferry and go see the statue of Liberty, but my mom's stomach didn't feel so good so I could tell she really didn't want to be in the heat on an overcrowded ferry, so I told her "not a big deal" I could see the statue of Liberty and get the gist of the whole thing. It's cool to see it FINALLY, after all my life hearing about this thing and the meaning of it all, regardless how small it looked from the park.

The Museum of Natural History

First day out to New York with my mom here was The Museum. We rode the train into New York and then took the subway. It was a real cool experience, aside from the fact the million of school groups there! Not a quiet atmosphere like mom would of expected but none the less COOL. The girls loved it.

My boob is gonna pop.

Ok well, not really, but sad day has come where I say good-bye to babyhood and hello to toddlermania. 2 nights ago, I stopped nursing Aliyah and she was totally fine with it. I think I took it harder then her. Emotionally and physically. My boob was getting so sore by the next day, pretty much throbbing or should I say screaming for someone to latch and suck(no thank you Hunter I will pass on your offer!). My friend Tasha's baby is like 2-3 months old and yesterday her mom happen to be going to a broadway show with family and she left cute little baby with my friend Jenni, well Jenni came over because baby Mya was crying and needed alittle help because her munchkin was jealous of her holding Mya. To make a long story short...NO, I did not feed her even though my boobs throb to the beat of her crying and grew a couple inches in hopes of reaching her mouth. I did offer, Jenni pretty grossed out said "umm, no". Well, today I still have a hard rock boob but no more throbbing, so babies across america stay away from me until I dry it all out.

Just to let you know I was only feeding her once right before bed for the last 3 weeks so I didn't think it would of affected me like it did.
Even though we all get anxious to be through nursing when the time actually comes it is a bit sad.
I love my little baby and how she is growing to be a big girl.

This is her where she randomly fell asleep when I propped her up on this teddy bear.
Ahh, the days of easy sleeping.

Walking

Aliyah started walking on mother's day a few steps, she caught on real fast. By her birthday she had it pretty good, now she is almost running she is so fast. The cutest thing ever. Oh, they grow up so fast! I can't stand it!

Jumping

Jasmine and Hunter went out one day after the rain and had fun jumping in puddles. It was so cute! He took some awesome pics as I video taped from across the street (in my balcony). So I thought I would share some pictures with you.

The 2 Scares

I haven't been frightened like this since halloween 2004. No, but seriously, this is something no one with kids ever want to go thru. First, Jasmine was sitting on the ledge of our window it happen to be all the way open because I was cleaning the oven and it was stinky. Anyways, the screen popped out and so did Jasmine. It was atleast a 8 or 9 feet drop. Luckily she was ok. I went thru so many emotions in such little time.

Second, we were swimming and Aliyah knows how to swim with her floaties ON(no fear really).
Well I guess she tried to take it off and she ripped it so it floated away and she tried to go get it and guess what she found out real quick she couldn't swim with just one. I started to get her but the lifeguard had already jump in and grabbed her. She too was ok, all she did was cough and then wanted to go back in.

ANGELS ARE WATCHING OVER US.

My 32nd Birthday

That's right I am now 32 and I feel the older you get the smaller the party festivities goes. It was still a nice day. We had a friend take our whole family to a restaurant called Uno. I didn't feel bad one bit since we feed him so much at home. The rest of the day was much to do about nothing. Hunter got me these awesome, cute New Balance Shoes that are meant to be my everyday shoes instead of using my workout shoes everyday. Later that night we went over to Jenni's and it turned out to be a little surprise party with a lot of the people from work. Which was so nice of her to throw together because she had been out of town. I made my own ice cream cake because I wanted to and everyone devoured it. I am old. The End.

Aliyah's party

So for Aliyah, her theme was Ladybugs! It was cute! We painted little ladybugs on everyone's cheeks and gave them antennas. I made 5 different types of pizzas and had mac n cheese(kid food ya hear). They played pin the spot on the bug and a bug race that didn't work so well. The kids really just ran around and played themselves. I was a little tired so I didn't even care that we didn't have more games! I let Aliyah have her own cake and let her at it! She had fun being around everyone!

The cakes turned out great! The middle one was especially for Aliyah! What a treat!

The pin the dot was so funny to watch. Lolo tried pinning one on Hunter(see above) and Jasmine did really good considering she was also blind folded. Aliyah really didn't dig in to the cake she more just played with it. Jace and Jojo finished it off by digging into the cakes with their faces! What hams!
